
NETadmin
NETadmin Systems is a Swedish company that develops automation software (NETadmin) for operational and business processes. With a sixty percent market share in Sweden, NETadmin Systems is the Nordic market leader and is currently in a phase of international expansion. Now partnered with Imtech Telecom Global to provide comprehensive network management solutions to the service provider industry.
NETadmin’s network management software is hardware independent and can handle network equipment from the various key suppliers in the market. It is also independent of access methods (FTTH, Ethernet, xDSL, WiMAX, etc.).
NETadmin employs SNMPs (simple network management protocols), automating processes and providing administrators with a single feature rich environment, rather than having to log into individual switches and multiple administration systems in order to connect a service to a customer. It also provides a sophisticated end-customer portal for self‐service which allows end-users to activate desired services through a portal interface, resulting in reduced OPEX costs as the need for support staff and manual intervention is significantly reduced.
Service providers connecting to external broadband network owners often find themselves in a situation where they do not have access to service statuses and other vital information, which they would have in their own networks. NETadmin automates and ties together administrative flows between technicians, customer support, service providers and end users; each of which gets access to their own portals. This way all parties can have access to relevant information, enabling them to complete many tasks unassisted in a short period of time, and with a common platform everyone can view what has been done and by who.

True END TO END Provisioning
Self registration system capable of handling the entire process irrelevant of the type of installed equipment, from the creation of a customer in the CRM application, to the activation of the Billing system and the provisioning of a subscription in the entire network. The provisioning process is fully automated and flexible, resulting in reduced OPEX costs as the need for support staff and network operators is significantly reduced.
The physical network connections of every hardware unit are documented to obtain a graphical overview of how the units are physically networked, making troubleshooting a lot easier. This information can also be used by the provisioning system to find the shortest route between units.

Customer System
Totally integrated, unmatched scaling capabilities. NETadmin unifies all aspects of a customer system providing more power and control to Service Providers. To enhance performance for end customers or to serve larger communities the system can be scaled in any way you want. This includes all portals available in the system. The NETadmin system scales by using many servers (minimum two).
Different portals can for example be placed near different providers. Several NETadmin installations can be integrated with the XML-API.
The customer is put in the centre of the NETadmin system. When looking up a customer you see a detailed view of that customer.
All basic information such as address, phone number etc. is presented in one view. At the same time you can view the customers services, cases and a log of all events concerning the customer.

The customer system relates to the service system, job handling system, address system, case handling system, monitoring system, script system, site system, hardware system and to the external API system. The customer system provides a view of information from all the different systems in NETadmin to get a complete operational view.

The structure of the large network has become more and more complex over the years with the introduction of new broadband services. NETadmin comes into play to ensure compatibility with the largest brands on the market. In order to achieve this Netadmin Systems have several partners in the industry, and rely on Imtech Telecom Global's implementation skills.
Support for new equipment and hardware units is continuously being implemented. This is all made possible thanks to the NETadmin driver system wich consists of two parts; driver packages and their drivers. A driver package is a container for drivers intended for the same type of hardware. The driver itself consists of code, which is based on parameters and inputs. The code, parameters and inputs can be defined directly in the web interface and the code is executed against hardware. Thus providing the abiliity to perform functions such as setting port speeds on specified ports.
